This proposal is the result of my semester of research and the three technical assignments that have preceeded it. It includes the four analysis topics for my depth portion and the two topics for analysis for my breadth portion of the final thesis presentation. Each topic is explained in detail about why it was chosen, how I will go about the reseach, and my expected outcomes from doing the research in these areas.
Technical Breadth 1 - Switch the gymnasiums' duct system from metal duct to fabric duct.
Technical Breadth 2 - Reduce roof beam sizes due to them being overdesigned for mechanical loading.
This proposal has my updated industry research and structural breadth topics that were used in the final project. It also includes advisor feedback from the fall semester of my thesis project.
